Tiling Complete and Stone Benchtops in!

Today I met a lady from Curtain Wonderland at the house so she could do a measure and quote.   The tiling is complete and the stone benchtops and basins are in!  Looks fantastic!

Our Building Supervisor told me that the painters will be starting next week as they got held up on a job this week.

At this stage they are talking handover early/ mid March ..... which should 'hopefully' work in nicely for when our lease is up in Coolum.

More Tiling photos

Called into the site today and the tilers have finishing laying all the main floor tiles.  Grouting still to be done, but I imaging that they leave that till last.

Tiles have also been laid in:
-  the main bathroom - around the bath, floor and skirting.
-  ensuite - shower base and floor tiles
-  laundry - above the tub/ bench

It looks really good.

Tiling underway

The tiling is well underway.  We dropped into the house last night and saw that they had made a good start, but it was really too dark to see well or to take any photos.

We met the tilers on site this morning to discuss the bathroom options and were hugely impressed by the work they had done.  The floor tiles look awesome - really happy with the colour.

The tilers expect to start the bathroom and ensuite tomorrow!

Kitchen is in!

After closing down the Christmas holidays, Plantation Homes were straight back into it come 14th  January.  Now that the house is locked up, it is more difficult to get internal photos as we usually go there late in the afternoon when everyone has gone for the day.  We were lucky to find the laundry door left unlocked the other night, but unfortunately it was too dark to take some decent photos.

We visited the site on Saturday to show our friends Al and Karen Burgess the house and we were excited to see that the kitchen had been installed!

This photo was taken through the window, so not as clear as it could be, but it gives you an idea.

Also since they started, the bathroom hobs have been put in and sealing around the showers and bath.  Coving has also been started and nearing completion.

Today the tilers arrived so hoping to get some more photos soon as we are meeting them onsite in the morning to discuss what we want for the bathrooms.
